Why is this trip so inexpensive, what’s the catch?

There’s no catch! There are a few reasons why we can offer such great packages for such low prices!  Experience, Volume and Timing! Experience, we have been providing College Students ski trips for 22 years, we know the ski resorts and know the people who run them. We have established long-standing relationships with lift ticket offices, management companies, ski shops, airlines and every other facet in the ski industry. Volume, by taking thousands of skiers to the mountains every year, we receive the absolute lowest prices on lodging and lift tickets for college groups. Timing, by offering our College Ski Week trip the first week in January (after Christmas and New Year’s), we are able to offer ski packages at 40%-60% cheaper than traveling in the last week of December (and the lifts lines are much shorter in January!)  return to top

What’s the difference in the Lodging Categories?

We offer everything from hotels in Frisco to condos on the slopes to private multi-million dollar homes.  What ever you want! We categorize our condos by location.  Ski-in/Ski-out and Walk to Lift Condos will be the closest to the lifts.  Ski-in Condos are a short walk (2 blocks) to the lifts or a quick shuttle ride. The great thing is all of our condos are right at the Base of Breckenridge and close to all of the action of Main Street. return to top

Am I guaranteed to be in the same room with my friends?

Most definitely!  You will only room with the people you list online or on your application.  We only match people up at the customers request. return to top

How do the lift tickets work?

Our “College Ski Week” package includes a 4 out of 6 Day/Night Lift Pass. This means you can ski any 4 out of the 6 days you are up there. So if you want to take a break in the middle of the week to go snowmobiling or shopping – you have that option.  You can ski any 4 days at Breckenridge, Keystone, and Arapahoe Basin. Plus you can Night Ski at Keystone. The pass also includes 2 days at Vail and Beaver Creek.  So to recap – you could actually start the day in Breckenridge, ski in Vail that afternoon and then Night Ski at Keystone – and all of that counts as just one day! return to top

Do we have to purchase transportation through UB Ski or can we get there on our own?

No!  We do  offer discounted Roundtrip Airfare to Denver and Airport Transfers or Motorcoach transportation – but it is totally optional.  If you want to drive up with your buddies or get your own airfare that’s o.k.  And if you fly into Denver for our January 3-8th trip – we can save you a ton of money and arrange your Airport transfers for you! return to top

I have never skied or snowboarded before?

Don’t waste your time running around town looking for a ski shop. Book with us in advance and spend more time on the mountain.  return to top

Breckenridge and the Summit County area have tons of other activities to offer (101 things to do!) other than just skiing and snowboarding.  Spend the day snowmobiling, ice-skating, dog sledding, shopping or take a hot air balloon ride.  At night, try some of Breckenridge’s many restaurants, go Night Skiing and check out some of UBSki’s “Free Beer” Parties!  return to top

All of our condos, townhomes and private homes have fully-equipped kitchens. Plus all the pots and pans, dishes, silverware and small and large appliances you will need. There is a large, full service grocery store in town for you to pick up anything you need, or if you are driving, bring some of the essentials with you to save money! Also, your U.B. Ski wristband allows you to take advantage of many discounts while eating out! return to top

Can I take the airport transfer if I don’t take your flight?

Yes,  you can book your own flight (make sure our staff receives a copy of your flight itinerary) and still be able to order your airport transfer into Breckenridge through us. And our transfer rates are over 30% cheaper than the airport rates!  return to top

Does everyone in my group have to order the same thing?

The only thing you have to do in common – is your group must check-in on the same day and check-out on the same day.  Besides that, everyone can get what they want.  If someone only wants to snowboard  for 2 days – that’s fine.  We would order them a 2 day board rental and a 2 day lift pass. Their buddy might want an extra lift ticket and a lesson. Someone else might want a 3 day ski rental and 1 day snowboard rental. return to top

I am traveling by myself or with maybe one other person. Do you match people up?

Yes, if requested, we can match you up with people requesting to be matched up. return to top

What if we get to Breckenridge after the management company closes on Check-in day?
